Philippians:
Living a Happy and Holy Life
Hardly a day goes by without a newly frightening
headline or pronouncement. Do we let our fears rob us of happiness
and even love? Chained in a Roman prison and under attack by
competitors, Paul is nevertheless joyful as he writes a very
personal and devotional letter to his friends in Philippi. He urges
the believers in Philippi to experience God’s joy for themselves, as
they strive to live in a manner worthy of the Good News. We will
seek to learn from this apostle how we can find the happiness that
transcends our circumstances, even the anxieties and disappointments
of tough times.
